Welcome back! This week we cover Dance of the Dead, and learn all about the Village policy on boom boxes, see what sort of party no. 2 likes to throw, and FINALLY get the definitive word on 6’s stance on the ladies. Enjoy!
Welcome again to The Prisoner Podcast! This week, fittingly on Number 6’s actual birthday, we cover Many Happy Returns, in which we learn all about staying quiet for long periods of time, eating lots of sandwiches, and England under Nazi rule. Enjoy!
Welcome back! This week on The Prisoner Podcast we look at some military history: Generals, and that…sort…of thing, and continue to ponder 6’s aversion to women, and why the hell he even sticks his nose in this business in the first place as we cover The General
If you’ve never seen it, here’s some links to learn more about Dark City, a very cool sci-fi flick from the 90’s:
Also, after doing a little digging, I found out that the writer of The General, Lewis Greifer, created the pseudonym “Joshua Adam” in honor of his two sons, whose upcoming school tests at the time inspired Greifer to come up with the story for The General. Very cool!
For some more info on Greifer, who also wrote some Doctor Who, check out his IMDB page.
Thanks for coming back after a long, unintended two-week hiatus! Sorry for the wait! This week we learn about flapjacks, voodoo, ESP, and how this episode is like Total Recall. Enjoy!
The Simpsons episode we reference is The Computer Wore Menace Shoes, from Season 12
And the Star Trek: The Next Generation episode we reference is The Schizoid Man, from Season 2.
Also, with all the Star Trek talk in this episode, we’d be remiss not to mention the passing of Leonard Nimoy this past week. He’ll be missed. LLAP!
